Matthew Walton is a photographer and director located in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Matthew graduated from Harding University in 2007 with a B.A. in Advertising, working with clients from “mom and pop” stores to national and international brands such as Spartan Mowers and UTVs and Hytrol Conveyor Company.

With his background and the natural environment of Northeast Arkansas, Matthew gravitates toward people and businesses that work with their hands. Manufacturing, industrial, and agricultural clients are the heartbeat of the region.

Matthew’s personal work is also tied to the rural landscape. The Rural Record is a multimedia project, documenting the landmarks and traditions of Arkansas and the region that are beginning to disappear at a rapid pace.
